I became a studio potter in the 1970s at Home Cooking Pottery in Brooklyn, NY. While my children were young I worked with Carla Horowitz in The Clay Cellar Pottery, a store front pottery in Montclair, NJ. Together we started the Doubletree Gallery, an artist's cooperative gallery of fine art and crafts. I took a hiatus from pottery for several years and have just begun working in clay again at The Clay Cellar, Carla's studio at Riker Hill Art Park in Livingston, NJ. I have taught pottery at the Montclair Adult School and the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art.

I love making functional clay pieces. It is a joy to hold an object in your hand when it is made by hand.
